Reasons to investigate

  • The official guide separates avatar, profile and voice creation
  • Background and dialogue style provide explicit writing controls
  • Private visibility and compatible card migration are documented

Keep in mind

  • The guide does not establish current voice or image quotas
  • A translated help guide is not proof of chat-language quality
  • Native character export and editable memory controls remain unverified

What is PolyBuzz?

PolyBuzz is a character-chat service with an official creation guide covering the avatar, written profile and voice. The quickstart describes generating an avatar or uploading an image, then defining the introduction, greeting, background and dialogue style.

This is a useful workflow for a character whose first impression and way of speaking both matter. Write an opening situation that makes the role clear, then use the background to explain motives. Test the actual replies separately from the image and the public introduction.

Background, dialogue and a blended voice

The background guide presents narrative and organized-list approaches to defining the character. The voice guide describes selecting a library voice or blending several tones with adjustable ratios. Current entitlements and output quality are not established by those instructions.

A practical evaluation can use a calm introduction, a disagreement and a changed setting. Check whether the same character motive remains recognizable in each. For voice, listen for intelligibility and whether the speaking style fits the written role; a large voice library alone does not answer either question.

Private characters and moving existing cards

Permission settings distinguish publicly discoverable characters from private characters that other users cannot chat with. The separate migration guide explains bringing compatible cards into PolyBuzz. This supports an import workflow, rather than proof that a character can be exported back out.

Keep a copy of your original definition and inspect the migrated fields. Visibility controls address who can find or use the character; review account-data policies separately if privacy is a deciding requirement. We have not tested a migration or a cross-platform round trip.

What does free access establish?

The official homepage describes access without payment and an optional membership. We record that as a documented free starting point for character chat. It does not establish a free quota for every image, voice or model feature.

Current membership prices, group-chat controls, memory editing, API access and conversation-language quality remain unverified. Choose the features you need in the finder to make those gaps visible before building a longer project.

Creating a character

Use the official guide for the current interface. These notes outline the documented workflow or the checks to make before choosing access.

  1. Generate an avatar or upload an image through the documented creator.
  2. Write the introduction and opening greeting, then the background and dialogue style.
  3. Select a library voice or configure a blend if your access permits it.
  4. Choose public or private permission and check current feature allowances.

Common questions

Can a PolyBuzz character be private?

Yes. The Permission guide says a private character cannot be chatted with by other users. Data retention is a separate question.

Can I create a custom PolyBuzz voice?

The official guide describes blending library tones. We have not tested that workflow or established current access limits.

Can I export a PolyBuzz character?

We found an official migration guide for importing compatible cards. Native export from PolyBuzz remains unverified.

MCU MARVEL RPG

By @Marco

A community RPG set in a Marvel-inspired universe, inviting you to define your own identity and scenario.

Why this character

A recognizable fictional setting paired with an open character brief makes it useful for checking how a narrator handles an original protagonist.

Published by @Marco. This is a community interpretation, not an established official Marvel product. Canon accuracy and guest chat access were not tested.

Found in Public RPG tag page · no popularity order established · 4 Oct 2026.

My original adult hero repairs emergency radios and has no superpowers. Start a nonviolent scene at a crowded transit station after a blackout. Introduce one person who needs help, keep my equipment limited to a radio and a toolkit, then wait for my action.

What to look for. The narrator preserves your original role and equipment, gives you an actionable problem and avoids silently granting powers or choosing your response.

Public avatar of THEATER REACTION PLACE
Creative writing

THEATER REACTION PLACE

By @Cosmo

A fictional theatre setup for having a cast of characters react to a story or scene.

Why this character

An ensemble reaction scene offers a concrete writing task: give several fictional people the same event and see whether their voices remain distinct.

The introduction mentions videos and movies. Atlas has not established video upload or video understanding; the exercise supplies a short scene as text.

Found in Public RPG tag page · no popularity order established · 4 Oct 2026.

In the theatre are three original adult characters: Mara, a cautious engineer; Sol, an optimistic gardener; and Ivo, a skeptical journalist. They read this scene: a stranger returns a lost wallet without leaving a name. Give each a brief, distinct reaction based only on this text. Do not add a secret motive or a video.

What to look for. Each speaker has a distinct perspective and knows only the supplied scene. A claim to have watched media is not evidence of video understanding.

Public avatar of Clone Wars
Imagined worlds

Clone Wars

By @QuentinWoods

A community text-adventure profile inspired by Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Why this character

Offers another familiar setting for a player-led adventure, with a different author and premise from the Marvel and Transformers profiles.

This is @QuentinWoods’s community interpretation. The public profile has multiple greetings, so your starting scene may differ. The setting includes fictional war; canon accuracy was not tested.

For this invented scene I am an adult civilian mechanic on a Republic transport, carrying a wrench and a faulty navigation tablet. Focus on repairing the ship and protecting passengers, without combat. Describe one problem I can inspect and wait for my choice; do not make me a Jedi or decide my actions.

What to look for. Your civilian role stays intact, available information is observable and the narrator honors the noncombat premise rather than pushing you into a prewritten role.

Transformers RPG

By @Zekotronus

A text-based community RPG inspired by Transformers, with an opening that asks you to choose a side.

Why this character

A faction-choice opening offers a useful contrast to an open sandbox. The exercise checks whether a neutral goal can remain a real choice.

Published by @Zekotronus, with a conflict-based opening. This is a community interpretation; the ability to redirect that opening has not been tested.

I am an adult civilian observer and have not joined either faction. My goal is to guide bystanders out of the street without fighting. Describe two routes I can assess and wait for my decision. Keep my allegiance undecided and do not narrate a choice on my behalf.

What to look for. Neutrality remains available, the routes have concrete differences and your actions remain yours. A forced faction choice would be a useful limitation to record.

Public avatar of NASCAR Race RPG
Imagined worlds

NASCAR Race RPG

By @Creatorhappy

A community racing-career RPG whose public premise invites you to become a NASCAR driver.

Why this character

Adds a sports scenario where turns, team communication and decisions can matter more than a fantasy power or companion persona.

The creator explicitly expresses uncertainty about the bot’s quality and expects updates. This is an untested fictional scenario; official NASCAR affiliation, current racing rules and realistic simulation are not established.

Found in Public RPG tag page · no popularity order established · 4 Oct 2026.

For this invented race scene, I am an adult rookie driver discussing strategy with the crew before a race. Use fictional teams and no real schedule. Present two tire-management approaches with different tradeoffs, ask which I prefer and wait. Do not declare a race result or choose for me.

What to look for. The narrator distinguishes a strategy discussion from a completed race, keeps your decision open and does not claim real-world rule accuracy from this fictional setup.

Singer

By @Karma

A fictional music-career scenario in which a viral performance attracts interest from record labels.

Why this character

Offers a contemporary dialogue and decision scene, with several possible interlocutors instead of a setting-wide fantasy adventure.

Real label names in the introduction are part of a fictional premise, not verified offers or affiliations. Music-industry accuracy and contract advice have not been tested.

Found in Public RPG tag page · no popularity order established · 4 Oct 2026.

For this invented story, I am an adult singer invited to a first studio meeting. Use two fictional producers: one values experimentation, the other polished live performances. Give each a short opening question, keep my goals undecided and leave my answers to me. Do not draft a contract.

What to look for. The two speakers have different motives, the narrator leaves your goals and replies open and does not treat a fictional meeting as a real commercial offer.
