Reasons to investigate
- A documented creator with personality, scenario and example dialogue
- JSON and PNG character imports are explained
- Saved conversation excerpts can be loaded and summarized
Keep in mind
- Import support does not establish native character export
- A multi-character bot is different from a chat containing separate character cards
- Voice is listed in the official wiki; entitlement and quality remain untested
What is CrushOn.AI?
CrushOn.AI provides a character creator documented in its official wiki. The quickstart distinguishes the public introduction from the personality used for responses. It also describes the greeting, appearance, scenario and example conversation, with public, unlisted or private visibility.
That distinction gives you a practical editing rule: use the introduction to explain the experience to a visitor, and the definition to tell the model how the character behaves. A compelling public card alone cannot establish a consistent conversation.
Bringing an existing character into CrushOn
The import guide accepts compatible JSON or PNG cards and populates the creator fields from the file. Remaining metadata still needs reviewing. It also discusses an external extension for obtaining some cards; that is a separate tool, not an export feature built into CrushOn.
If portability matters, compare the resulting definition with the original before beginning a long scene. Keep your own source file and check the greeting, scenario and dialogue examples after import. We have not tested format compatibility or a return export.
Saved memories, voice and multiple roles
Save Memories describes saving selected messages, choosing visibility, and later loading or summarizing them. This is an explicit reuse workflow. It does not establish automatic recall of everything you have said. The feature index also lists text-to-speech, voice messaging and custom voice; their detailed access conditions remain unchecked.
A separate guide explains writing multiple roles inside one bot definition. We do not treat that as evidence of a group-chat interface with independently configured cards. For that requirement, compare the documented group features of SpicyChat, Nomi or SillyTavern. Current CrushOn prices and free quotas remain open questions.
Creating a character
Use the official guide for the current interface. These notes outline the documented workflow or the checks to make before choosing access.
- Choose Create a Character, then start from fields or a compatible card file.
- Separate the visible introduction from the personality and scene definition.
- Review the greeting and example dialogue after any import.
- Set visibility and review current model and subscription access before chatting.
Common questions
Can I import a character into CrushOn?
The official import guide documents JSON and PNG cards. Compatibility and the completed import flow have not been tested by Atlas.
Can I create a private CrushOn character?
Yes. The quickstart distinguishes private, unlisted and public characters. This is visibility, rather than a guarantee about data processing.
Does Save Memories mean unlimited memory?
No. The cited guide describes manually saved conversation excerpts and loading or summarizing them. It does not establish unlimited automatic recall.
